Rights to Park (RP)

This policy is also known as: ‘Absence of Easement for Parking (Leasehold)’

This policy provides cover in favour of the lessee for the right to use an allocated/designated car parking space. Case law suggests that it is not possible to grant an easement on an exclusive basis. The policy will respond if the Insured is prevented from using the car parking space on the grounds that they do not have a legal easement to do so.
